Building a sustainable future

GoodBuild

The Problem…

Construction accounts for over half of Scotland’s total waste, but it also holds the greatest opportunity for change.

Every year, reusable materials worth billions are lost to landfill, yet smart reuse can cut disposal costs, reduce carbon emissions, and deliver better value for businesses and communities alike.

The Solution

GoodBuild, Good Green Future's flagship project, is a community construction reuse hub based in Stirling.

We collect surplus and reusable building materials from local construction firms, trades, and households, then make them available to the public at affordable prices.

The Goal

  • Reduce construction waste going to landfill

  • Support employability, volunteering, and training opportunities

  • Offer low-cost DIY and renovation materials for the community

  • Build partnerships with local businesses and public sector organisations

  • Inspire innovation and research into circular construction
